It's looking like a chilly but clear day in Boone, North Carolina on Saturday, where the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns will take on the 20th-ranked Appalachian St. Mountaineers in the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Championship Game.

The forecast is for mostly clear skies for most of the day, with an afternoon high in the lower 40's, with only a light wind.

The temperature should be right around the freezing mark in the early morning hours, before warming up to 42 at the scheduled 11 am kickoff time and through the afternoon.

There is a slim 10% chance of rain in the forecast.

Louisiana, who has won 10 of their last 11 games, is currently 10-2 on the season, including a 7-1 Sun Belt Conference mark, while Appalachian St. will enter at 11-1, and 7-1 respectively.

This will mark the second-straight year that the two programs will meet in Boone in the SBC title game, with the Mountaineers capturing a 30-19 win last year.

Appalachian St. defeated Louisiana earlier this year at Cajun Field, 17-7.

The Cajuns need one more win to finish with the first 11-win season in program history while securing their first outright Sun Belt Conference title in school history.

The winner of the game will represent the Sun Belt Conference in the New Orleans Bowl.
