UL Lafayette AmeriCorps And Raising Cane’s Team Up For 5th Annual Cinderella Project
Over 850 prom dresses have been collected as part of the UL AmeriCorps and Raising Cane's 5th annual Cinderella Project. Girls, if you are a junior or senior from a high school in Acadia Parish and searching for the perfect prom dress, the Cinderella Project is sure to help and make you feel like a princess. The project will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn on Saturday, March 9th from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Donations are also welcomed. The Cinderella Projects accepts short and long dresses and all must dry cleaned and on a hanger. They also accept shoes and accessories. Any donations are being collected at any Lafayette or Broussard location of Raising Cane's or the UL Lafayette AmeriCorps office thru Friday, March 9th.
The Cinderella Project allows girls who cannot afford a prom dress to pick out any one of the donated dresses along with matching shoes and accessories for FREE! All you need to do is bring a school I.D. or paperwork proving that you are a high school junior or senior and your princess experience will begin!
