New data shows that where you live can play a major factor into how good of a deal you get.

A new report was put together by NetCredit and they analyzed 299,089 used car listings across the U.S., comparing local prices against the national average to identify the best-used car model in each state.
The Best Used Car Deal in Louisiana
In Louisiana, the best deal you'll find is the GMC Sierra 1500. Prices on this pickup truck are 1.85% less than the national average, so it's the vehicle with the best savings compared to others sold in other states.

Other Surprising Used Car Bargains Nationwide
Some key findings regarding the least expensive used car model in each state includes some huge savings. Here are a few examples:
- A used Ford F-150 in North Dakota is 12.24% cheaper than the national average, making it the best value model in any particular state.
- New York City's best value used car is the Nissan Rogue. It's 17.94% cheaper than the national average for the same model.
- The best value used car in Los Angeles is the Tesla Model 3, which is 7.68% cheaper than the national average.
NetCredit also put together a list of the 25 best-selling vehicles in the 2025. Here's that list, in alphabetical order:
Chevrolet Equinox, Chevrolet Trax, Ford Explorer, Ford F-150, Ford Maverick, Honda Civic, Honda CR-V, Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Jeep Wrangler, Kia Sportage, Nissan Rogue, Ram Pickup 1500, Subaru Crosstrek, Subaru Forester, Tesla Model 3, Tesla Model Y, Toyota Camry, Toyota Corolla, Toyota Rav4 and Toyota Tacoma.
