Based on what we've just witnessed on video captured by a home surveillance system, Cousin It, of The Addams Family television show appears to be living his best life in a suburban backyard in California. Now as you ponder that theory, chew on this.

Here's a frightening thought, how much time during the course of your day when you are outside of your home do you think you are being watched? Most of us would probably say "I'm too boring, nobody would watch me" but that's where you and I both would be wrong.

The fact is cameras are everywhere and depending on your point of view that can be a very good thing or a very bad thing. Those of us who do stupid things would probably opt for less screen time but those who are interested in the world around us just can't get enough of scenes like this one.

I want you to look in the lower left-hand corner of this video at about:05 seconds after it starts. What the heck is that walking around in the backyard? Here, I isolated the "creature" in this screenshot from a video on YouTube by Renee Schiavone.

No, it's walking upright so it can't be a cat or a dog so it must be a skunk walking on its hands. Yeah skunks do that, right? As a matter of fact, they actually do. At least this species of skunk does.

Apparently, when skunks are frightened they will do a handstand so they can point their "defense mechanism" directly at their attacker. And when observed from overhead, as in the surveillance video, the handstanding skunks look a lot like TV's Cousin It.

Have you caught something unique or interesting on your doorbell or home surveillance camera? What about on your trail camera? We'd like to see it. Hopefully, we won't stumble across any strange creatures walking on their hands. Unless it's Bigfoot, then I think I'd like to see that.
