Ten NCAA softball players who excel both on and off the field are up for the 2012 Lowe's Senior CLASS Award. To be eligible for the award, a student-athlete must be classified as an NCAA Division I senior and have notable achievements in four areas of excellence – community, classroom, character and competition.

The CLASS acronym stands for Celebrating Loyalty and Achievement for Staying in School®.

The ten finalists were chosen by a media committee from the list of 30 candidates announced in February.

One of those finalists is Ragin' Cajun standout Christi Orgeron. The USA national softball team member is leading the #7 ranked UL team in home runs (18) and RBIs (83) while playing flawless defense.

The award is fan-voted and right now Orgeron is trailing so go and rock the vote. Click here to vote. You have until midnight on May 14 to do so.
