‘The Walking Dead’ Season 5 Trailer From Comic-Con 2014
The 'Walking Dead' season 5 trailer finally debuted at Comic-Con 2014 during AMC's panel for the hit zombie-drama, but if you weren't there to see it, thanks to the magic of the internet, you can watch it right now and see what all the fuss is about!
The cast and crew of 'The Walking Dead' made their way out to San Diego for a Comic-Con panel in the high-energy Hall H. Stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Chad Coleman, Chandler Riggs and Michael Cudlitz were present, along with executive producers Scott Gimple, Gale Anne Hurd, Robert Kirkman, Greg Nicotero and David Alpert, to talk about the highly anticipated season 5, but the real prize was the 'Walking Dead' season 5 trailer with tons of new footage from the upcoming run.
When last we saw the 'Walking Dead' crew in the season 4 finale, most of the characters (with the exception of Tyreese, Carol and baby Judith) in the hands of those Terminus baddies. So what horrors await in season 5? We know that things will kick off immediately after the initial scuffle at Terminus, and it looks like -- SPOILER ALERT -- the residents of this "haven" have been confirmed as the cannibals of the comic books. Though the gang looks to be in a dire situation, it won't be for long, as they'll soon be on the road again. Also, Beth is alive, though not in the situation comic book fans were probably expecting. Elsewhere, the 'Walking Dead' Comic-Con 2014 panel confirmed newcomer Seth Gilliam to be playing comic book character Father Gabriel in season 5.
'The Walking Dead' season 5 will debut October 12, at 9 p.m. EST on AMC.
