Want to Drive-By and See Christmas Lights in Acadiana? Check Out This List of Homes

Driving around looking at Christmas lights has been a lot of fun for many families over the years. There were always neighborhoods that had "the good lights" and you could count on those homes to delight a station wagon full of kids.

In 2024, how do you find those homes? Well, you get help from the internet and social media.

There are a couple of great resources to tap into to find the best holiday light displays in Acadiana and we'll share those with you here.

The first one is the "12 Yards of Christmas" light tour put together by One Church in Lafayette. The tour consists of 12 specific homes throughout Acadiana that have decorated their home for you and your family to enjoy.

One of the stops is the Christmas Light tour at One Church, located at 211 JB Rd. There you can enjoy the Christmas light show that features more than 20,000 lights synchronized to music.

Tune into radio station 100.5 FM to hear the song that makes the lights dance.

Another great resource for finding great homes decorated for Christmas is by checking out the Landers Family Christmas Light List.

According to their Facebook page, they have "an extensive list of the best Christmas displays in Lafayette, Youngsville, Broussard, and the surrounding areas."

They are consistently updating the list and you can access it at this Google doc.

Currently, there are 37 homes on the list and it's organized by zip code. The list gives the address for each home, a short description of what you'll see there, and dates/times of the light shows (when applicable).

It's nicely put together, so we tip our holiday hat to the Landers family.
