We're hoping for a cloudless sky on January 20th, for the first total lunar eclipse of 2019. And it's worth staying up for, because we won't see another one until May 2021. If you want to be ready for when the Sun, Moon, and Earth are in perfect alignment, make sure you're looking towards the sky from around 9:30 pm until around 11:30 pm CST. We don't always get to see such a spectacle here in Louisiana, but it will definitely be visible to us this time. Other parts of the world will only see a partial eclipse, so consider ourselves lucky! It will be visible in the US, Canada, South America, parts of Europe, Asia, and Africa
