Watching Hershey's 'Messy Marvin' Commercials, I Made A Discovery

Today for some reason, I hopped on Youtube to watch some old Hershey's Chocolate Syrup commercials from the 80s. You remember Messy Marvin? Well, as I was watching these commercials and feeling all nostalgic and stuff, I realized who the kid playing Messy Marvin was.

Messy Marvin was played by none other than Peter Billingsley, better known as Ralphie from "A Christmas Story"!

Now, I know I don't get out much, but I never knew Messy Marvin was Ralphie. I loved the Messy Marvin commercials when I was a kid, but never put the two together. However, I had super bad eyesight as a kid so I'm not surprised I didn't make the connection.
