Westminster Christian Academy in Lafayette announced yesterday that they will add an upper school to their campus beginning in the 2019-2020 school year.

The school will add grades 7 through 12 to their existing Lafayette campus but in their own separate space. Currently, the school services grades K3-6.

Within a few years, the plan is to relocate the upper school to its own campus in Lafayette Parish.

WCA also has a school in Opelousas. That original school was founded in 1978 on the grounds of a small church. The Opelousas campus currently runs from K3 to 12th grade.

The Lafayette campus was established at its current location in 2000.
