What to Do When You Drop Your Phone in Water

Last year at CMA Music Fest, I was watching Joe Nichols at an outdoor show, when a sudden rain storm came up and completely soaked me, and my phone. Disaster. Someone told me to put it in a bag of rice, which I thought was really crazy, but IT WORKED! But I figured there were other ways to get out of a disastrous situation - your phone is, or was, underwater, dropped in the toilet, left outside on a ledge and went in the lake....whatever! Take it out, and Turn it off

Remove the SIM Card and Battery

Dry it Quickly, and Don't Use a Hair Dryer

Stick it in SILICA

Wait

Test It
