William Michael Morgan Playing 97.3 The Dawg Night at Le Festival de Mardi Gras a Lafayette

Le Festival de Mardi Gras a Lafayette will be held February 5-9 at Cajun Field here in Lafayette.

The Festival is headed up by the Greater Southwest Louisiana Mardi Gras Association and features a carnival with rides and games, live music, parades and more.

This year 97.3 The Dawg is proud to sponsor the live entertainment on kick-off night, Friday, February 5th.

Live on the My Rouses Soundstage will be three fantastic acts. Louisiana native and former contestant on "The Voice" James Dupré will kick off the show from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

Then at 8:30pm we are proud to present Warner Brothers recording artist William Michael Morgan. You know him from his debut hit "I Met a Girl". (A song written by Sam Hunt by the way.)

Closing out the night from 10:00 to 11:30pm will be the Zydeco Boss himself, Keith Frank.

It will also be pay-one-price ride night at the Louisiana Lottery Midway. From 5pm to 11pm you can pay $28 and ride all you want.

Remember that admission to the festival is free, but you will have to pay to park.
