Win a Zero Turn Lawnmower from 97.3 The Dawg & Walker First Turn [Contest]

97.3 The Dawg and Walker First Turn in Scott are presenting the second annual "Big Dog Games" on Saturday, June 3, 2023, where one lucky winner will score a brand new Big Dog zero turn mower.

First, let's tell you about the grand prize.

The grand prize winner of The Big Dog Games will win a Big Dog Alpha 52" Cut Zero Turn Lawnmower. It features a 23-horsepower Briggs and Stratton engine and three cutting blades. The retail value is $3,899.

How do I qualify to participate in The Big Dog Games?

If you want to earn a spot in the Games, you will first have to qualify to participate, and you can do that one of three ways:

1) Each weekday between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm from Monday, May 15 through Friday, June 2, listen for a special sounder to air on 97.3 The Dawg. When you hear it, be caller #7 on the Leash Line at (337) 261-9797 and you'll instantly be one of the qualifiers.

2) Enter in the form at the bottom of this story for a chance to qualify. Each Friday leading up to The Games, we'll pick five qualifiers from everyone who enters.

3) Show up at Walker First Turn in Scott (712 S Frontage Rd) between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm on Saturday, June 3, 2023, and enter to become one of the final five qualifiers.

We will get a total of 50 qualifiers. (Must be at least 21 years old to participate in the contest.)

How exactly will The Big Dog Games work?

Beginning around 12:30 pm on the day of the event, we will do a reverse drawing where we basically eliminate 40 qualifiers. If we call someone's name, they'll get a nice ditty bag filled with goodies from our sponsors

The 10 qualifiers who do not hear their names called will be the finalists that will compete in the inaugural Big Dog Games. Those 10 individuals will then compete in a series of unique contests related to lawnmowers, outdoors, and the like.

The contestant who "scores" the most points will be declared the winner of the new Big Dog zero-turn riding lawnmower.
