Woman Finds Her Stolen Bike on Craigslist and Steals It Back

A woman in Vancouver had her bike stolen while at a friend's house last week. She immediately called the cops with little luck.

However, the next day a friend of hers called her up to tell her she saw the bike listed on Craigslist. The police were called again. But they told the woman that they wouldn't be able to look into it until the next day.

That's when matters were taken into own hands.

The woman called the person listing her bike on Craigslist. She told him she was interested in purchasing the bike. She was able to set up a meeting at a McDonald's parking lot.

At first the guy didn't want her to take it for a spin, but he eventually agreed. He just asked that she not ride off on it.

Haha! Of course, that's exactly what she did! In other words, she stole her bike back.

She posted the story on Reddit. No word if the police will now decide to investigate.
