Woman Describes National Anthem As Most 'Dangerous Situation She's Ever Been In'

A recent TikTok video posted by @paulinappa_0 has sparked some pretty strong opinions across social media.

Rainbow Oaks Country Market in Fallbrook, California has a daily tradition of playing the National Anthem every day at noon.

When the Star Spangled Banner begins, customers immediately stop eating and stand with their hands over their hearts to respect our country and our National Anthem.

Once the National Anthem concluded, customers continue with their meals.

The restaurant plays the National Anthem to show respect for our country, but apparently, not everyone sees it this way.

TikTocker @paulinappa_0 described her situation as "By far the most dangerous situation I’ve ever been in."

From MSN.com -

"The clip starts off with Paulina recording her pancakes and then the interior of a restaurant.

She stays seated in front of her meal as other patrons stand up and salute the flag as 'The Star-Spangled Banner' plays on the establishment's loudspeaker.

Her camera pans to TV sets hanging on the walls that display animated graphics of American flags waving in the wind."

We understand that people have different opinions. People perceive things differently, and perception is reality.

We don't know the woman who posted the video, and we don't know her life experiences so it would be foolish to voice our opinion about hers.

All we can do is hope that one day, she'll be open to changing her opinions and not feel threatened when the National Anthem is played.

All we can do is hope that one day, she'll realize the reason she's able to publicly share her contrary opinion about this country and the National Anthem is exactly what makes this country so great.
