World’s Oldest Person Passed Away at 117
There is officially no one left on Earth that was alive in the 1800s.
Emma Morano of Verbania, Italy, the world's oldest person at 117, passed away on Saturday. She was born on November 29, 1899 and was the last verified living person born in the 1800s.
What was her key to such a long life? She said doing three things: eating eggs, going to bed early, and being single.
(I got two of those three things. Must mean I'll live to at least 115.)
The new oldest person in the world is a woman named Violet Brown in Jamaica. She just turned 117 but was born on March 10, 1900.
