I drink a lot of coffee. I wake up at 1 in the morning and coffee is one of the main reasons I am still functioning at 10am when the Bruce and the Kennel Club show yields the airwaves to Stephanie Crist. I usually drink my coffee black, unless I remember to purchase some fancy Italian Cream creamer stuff at the store. That stuff makes a great cup of coffee when you are in a hurry .Jill the almost invisible intern really likes it when I bring the creamer to the station. She usually drinks it all in one cup of coffee.

On the weekends, I like to sleep in, sometimes I will lounge around in the bed as late as 3:30 or 4 before the pounding in my brain from lack of caffeine forces me to get out of the bed and go brew a pot of coffee. For my weekend coffee I like to do something fancy with my cup of Joe for two reasons.

The first reason is to reenforce to my brain that I shouldn't be at work and the second is I have time and everyone else is sleeping. I have have tried drip coffee, chicory coffee, Kona coffee from Hawaii, French Press coffee and loads and loads of instant coffee drinks too. I have never tried Vietnamese coffee but this weekend I am going to give it a try.

It looks easy enough to make and I like sweetened condensed milk so what could possibly go wrong? Why don't you give this a try this weekend? You know a little special cup of coffee on a Saturday morning could mean a little extra loving before the kids wake up? Who am I kidding that only happens in Taster's Choice commercials.
