Zebra and Camel Racing Heading to Delta Downs in Vinton on Saturday, June 3

If you didn't get your fix of zebra and camel racing a few weeks ago at Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, then you have another chance.

Delta Downs Racetrack Casino & Hotel will be bringing back an evening of exotic animal racing as they'll be hosting "Stripes & Speed Humps" on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Just like the night at Evangeline Downs, this evening of racing will feature a regular slate of horse racing (quarter horse) with zebra and camel racing interspersed.

Racing will kick off early with a special post time of 5:00 pm. You'll be able to watch the zebras and camels race to the finish line after Race 2 and again after Race 4.

How much does it cost to attend?

Nothing. Yep, this family-friendly event is free to all and will be a unique day at the races.

If you want to see a zebra and camel up close, then head on over to Delta Downs on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. They'll be hosting a trackside meet and greet with the animals.
