Earlier this week at Acadiana Center for the Arts in downtown Lafayette, 97.3 The Dawg held its 5th annual Holiday Hangover Show, and a grand time was had by all.

Of course, as many of you know, the show was originally scheduled for January 16, but we had to postpone the event due to inclement winter weather.

So, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, we gathered with some local and national acts to put on this listener appreciation show.

The evening started with Acadiana's own Jeff Dugan, Buddy Andrews, and Ory Veillon all on stage at the same time playing some original tunes along with a few of their all-time favorite classics.

Then, to wrap up the night, we welcomed up-and-coming stars Zach Top and Drew Baldridge, and they surely did not disappoint.

Top is pretty new to the national scene, as earlier this year he debuted his first single to country radio, "Sounds Like the Radio." And then, on Friday, April 5th, he'll be releasing his debut full-length album entitled Cold Beer & Country Music.

Baldridge has been around for a hot minute but has really hit his stride with his new single, "She's Somebody's Daughter," which first went viral in 2023. It is now sitting inside the top 40 of the Country Singles chart.

A huge thanks to our listeners for coming out and making the Holiday Hangover Show something special.

And we surely couldn't keep this a free show without the help of our many great sponsors who helped us with the event:

  • Express Employment Lafayette
  • Seasafe
  • RLB Construction
  • Home Furniture Plus Bedding
  • Lowry's Printing & Signs
  • Prejean's Restaurant in Carencro & Broussard
  • Rustic Renegade
  • Selfie Bot

Our friend Max DeRoche took some cool photos of the artists performing and we thought we'd share those with you.
