Drug Take Back Day gives you the chance to anonymously safely dispose of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and/or unwanted drugs. The event is Saturday, April 28th.

Scott Police Department

In addition to this free service, Police Chief Chad Leger will have an officer who has been certified in Child Safety Seat Installation on site between 9 and 11 am to educate drivers in the proper installation of child safety seats, also free of charge. Scott Police will have their tent set up on the corner of Cameron and Cayret Streets in the parking lot of  Brian Schlesinger State Farm Insurance, across the street from Cashway Pharmacy. The event will happen from 9 AM until NOON.

Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office

The event will happen from 10 AM until 2 PM at the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office Public Safety Complex located at 1825 W. Willow St. (The DEA cannot accept liquids, needles or sharps – only pills or patches will be accepted for disposal).

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office

The event will happen from 10 AM until 2 PM at the Walgreens on 1401 Rees Street in Breaux Bridge. There will be deputies on hand to help you in the disposal process. Just drive up and drop them in the collection box.
