Yes, I've seen the TLC show "Extreme Couponing". I would love to be able to spend 8 hours a day going through newspapers, and have a whole office in my house devoted to coupons, but.....really? I like to save money, and use a variety of coupons for things that I need, but when I see 2 whole bedrooms filled with food I automatically think HOARDERS...

OK....famous or infamous?  The guy and girl kissing on VJ Day in Times Square is my favorite, but DB Cooper runs a close second. Some of these pics are known world wide, and yet we still have no clue who they actually are. Maybe Casey Anthony should take some tips...

I have to admit...I am a proud dollar store shopper. Whether it's 99 Cent Only, Dollar Tree, or...whatever! I LOVE dollar stores! You can find some awesome deals at these stores, even if you have to dig a little. With the economy on the downhill side, its totally worth it to investigate...

Albertsons has decided they want more interaction with customers....and so goes their self checkout lines. I'm kinda sad about this, because sometimes I just want the "in and out" grocery store experience. I WILL commend Albertsons for wanting to serve their customers better...

Ok...I looked at the list, and I have to say Fort Worth Texas jumps out at me. Not only because both of my parents are graduates of TCU, but because it's a really really great city. Old West meets High Tech-hey, they don't call it CowTown for nothin'...

I personally have used  www.gasbuddy.com for years, and I love the fact that local folks are the ones posting the current prices. But a mobile app is perfect if you are traveling, or want a jump on where to go  for the best prices AHEAD of time...

I enjoy doing the internet shopping. If it wasn't that I like helping out the local merchants, I'd do all my shopping online. And usually before I buy something that I can't get at the 99¢ Store, I check out the customer reviews of the product. The more it cost the more time I spend reading those too.

Well, I'd have to start out with anyplace that sells boudin and cracklin. Oh wait! That's right here in Acadiana-my number one vote for a great place to find happiness. Festivals, food, and awesome Cajun culture. I love it here...but if I DID want to branch out a little...

OK, I admit I'm a bit biased when it comes to this guy's music. I've been a huge fan of Brooks and Dunn since day one. But this new solo disc from Ronnie Dunn is just fantastic! No, there's nothing totally out of left field, just solid music.

It couldn't have been easy being married to Frank Sinatra. Fascinating, but not easy. His tirades and generosity are well documented, but this is a side we've never seen from Ole Blue Eyes. The new book, out in stores now, was written by Barbara Sinatra, who was married to Frank when he passed away...
