There is another great event planned for this weekend to raise money for those affected by the recent floods.

Festival De Musique will be held Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28 at Parc International in downtown Lafayette. All proceeds from the event will support the United Way of Acadiana in its flood relief efforts.

There will be a live auction, food and drinks and tons of great live music.

Captain Clay Higgins will do the opening prayer each day. The Voice Season 8 finalist Koryn Hawthorne will follow with a rendition of “How Great Thou Art.”

The musical lineup includes: Richard Lebouef and Two Step, Ken Holloway, High Performance, Blaine Roy & Second, Jamie Bergeron & the Kickin' Cajuns and many more.

The concert gets underway Saturday at 8:30am until 10:30pm and 8:30am until 7:00pm on Sunday.

Admission is $10 per person.12 and under get in free.
