The U.S. Department of Education is awarding $281,745.00 to the La. Department of Education to assist lower income students in Louisiana to pay fees for Advanced Placement testing.

“Earning college credit in high school could mean the difference in thousands of dollars saved in tuition expenses for these students,” says U.S. Senator David Vitter.

The Advanced Placement test is administered by the College Board, which allows high school students to receive college credit.
