Today is National Pig in a Blanket Day! For those of you who might not know, a pig in a blanket is a little hot dog, Vienna sausage, or breakfast sausage wrapped in biscuit dough or a pancake and baked. It is a delicious, little treat. Great for kids or as an appetizer at a cocktail party.
History of the Pig in a Blanket: Once upon a time, someone fell in love with this little snack and created it’s very own, special day. The end.
So, tonight for dinner cook some mini hot dogs, wrap them in biscuit dough and pop them in the oven! Voila!
