Most of the time when law enforcement is looking for a suspect they only have a description of the individual. In this case, they know the suspects name and they are looking to you help locate him.  According to the Acadia Parish Sheriff's Department the man they are looking for not only stole a large quantity of crawfish, he lead officers on a high speed chase.

Maxine Trahan is spokesperson for the Acadia Parish S.O.,

"This individual, who has been identified as Cary Gordon Bastain, arrived and loaded six crawfish sacks into the back of the white Camaro that he was driving."

Allegedly Bastain then left the scene of the crime at a high rate of speed. According to reports he was driving over 100 miles per hour in the direction of Lafayette and Vermilion Parishes. When capture Bastain will be facing  multiple charges including simple burglary, reckless driving, and aggravated flight from an  officer.

"Anyone who may know of his whereabouts, we're asking that you contact the sheriff's office, Wildlife and Fisheries, or even the Vermillion Parish Sheriff's Office so that we can arrest him for the charges that he's being charged."
