Besides the long lines at security what is the biggest pain in the butt about flying? I would say for most of us, it is getting from the runway, through the terminal, then to baggage claim, then to our ground transportation. What if we could eliminate all those steps just by changing the design of the aircraft?

I understand why I pay taxes, we get a lot of services from government on the federal, state and local levels. I just hate it when the government spends my money on programs that might not REALLY be in the best interest of all of us. Do you think the facebook game Farmville should be a priority? How about rap music videos?

I love stirring the pot of conspiracy, partly because it leads to great discussion and partly because it's fun to watch some people freak out over things that have been going on for years anyway. The Department of Transportation of the United States of America, that would be our government has announced they would love to see "data recorders" placed in all cars. They say it's so that in the event of a crash the "data recorder" much like the "black box" on an airplane can give investigators added information as to what really happened during the crash. This could lead to better built cars, better highway administration, better tracking and tracing of every American no matter where they travel or when they travel. What if the government also built in to these devices the ability to shut down a car with the flip of a switch bringing a fully mobile country to a dead standstill? Hey then we all be sitting ducks for a coup or takeover by a hostile administration. Okay maybe I am stirring the pot too fast on this one but still points to ponder.

You make a search on the Internet, you call your brother in Kansas you think all of this is private information. Well guess what, it isn't. Uncle Sam can, if he wants too, find out exactly where you go on the Internet and who you talk to on your cellphone and when. Now the government wants communication providers to hold on to that information even longer. I understand it helps them catch the bad guys but, don't you feel a little creepy knowing that your family issues or private conversations could be brought out into the light of day with just a flip of a switch?
