4 Ways You’re Washing Your Face Wrong
I don't know about you guys, but I have always struggled with knowing right from wrong when it comes to washing my face.
It seems that every skin care professional has a different opinion on what kind of product you should use and the methods you should use to care for your skin.
I have always wanted just some plain and simple advice. And it looks like I've finally found it.
Here is actually a list of common mistakes people make when washing their face. Heed this advice and it is sure to help you achieve a cleaner, healthier face.
- Not washing their hands first. If your hands are dirty when you wash your face, you end up rubbing oil and bacteria into your skin.
- Exfoliating too much. You should really do this only once or twice a week, not every day.
- Scrubbing too hard. Ideally, you should use a gentle circular motion. If you're too aggressive, you could actually cause more wrinkles.
- Using cold water. Warm water opens up your pores while cold water closes them. So wash with warm water and rinse with cold water.
