Getting Ready for the Kentucky Derby with '50 -1' the Movie

We've been getting a little nostalgic since the pride of Catahoula, jockey Calvin Borel, announced his retirement from racing. So we thought we would take a look back to last year when we got a visit from some Hollywood folks who wanted to pay homage to Calvin, and his incredible win at the Kentucky Derby on Mine That Bird.

The cast of the movie '50 to 1' visited our studios to promote the movie, and we sat down with actor Christian Kane to talk about the film, and the nationwide bus tour the cast took to spread the word about Louisiana's own Calvin Borel. The movie itself is about Calvin Borel's 2009 win at the Kentucky Derby on Mine That Bird.
