St Jude Gumbo Cook-Off Today!

Steamboat Warehouse Restaurant and Frank's Downtown of Opelousas, LA are putting on the 6th Annual Gumbo Cook-Off to benefit St Jude. The Cooking begins at 10am with judging at 3pm, winners announced at 4pm.There will be food, drink, music, Fun Jump's, an Auction, and a Cash raffle, and other shenanigans! Please leave your personal ice chests at home because A portion of Frank's liquor sales will also be donated.

The cook off is dedicated a special little girl we call "Ella Bella"(that's her picture). Her real name is Ella Eades and she is patient at St Jude Hospital.She is an amazing young lady, so strong, so brave, so beautiful and so special to us at 97.3 The Dawg. She has recently undergone treatment for a blood disorder and with the amazing talents of the St Jude doctors and your special wishes and prayers she will be on the road to an amazing recovery.
