Acadiana High Forfeits Win Against Sulphur Due To Ineligible Player
As a result of a self-reported violations infraction, the LHSAA has ruled Acadiana High must forfeit its win against Sulphur.
KATC reports Acadiana High Principal David LeJeune says the school self-reported the ineligible player. No information has been given as to why the player was ineligible.
The LHSAA has yet to release a statement, but the forfeit is listed on Acadiana and Sulphur’s schedules on the LHSAA website.
As a result of the forfeit, Acadiana drops to 4-3, tied for second place in District 3-5A. Sulphur is now undefeated in district play.
