Acadiana Native James Dupre Auditions for ‘The Voice’ [VIDEO]
Acadiana native James Dupre might or might not be on NBC's Emmy Award winning show 'The Voice' on part 2 of the season 9 premiere tonight, at 7:00 pm CST. Of course, the auditions for these shows are done weeks in advance, and contestants are not in any way supposed to let on whether they made it to the next level or not, but according to his Twitter feed, we should be on the look out for him tonight, during blind auditions for the show. He was not on the Monday night episode, so we are crossing our fingers! Yesterday, he posted 'Today's the Day! Are You ready?? #VoicePremiere #JamesDupre', so that seems like a positive sign!
This is not James Dupre's first brush with national fame either. A couple of years ago, the Bayou Chicot native came to the attention of Ellen Degeneres, with his massive YouTube hits, and he performed on her show. We are so excited for James, and wish him all the best of luck with his audition on 'The Voice'!
