There are a lot of really cool artists in country music. I mean, they all still allegedly put their pants on one leg at a time. (Although, Keith Urban just puts his on way hipper than most of us!)

In all my years of being in this industry, I can say unequivocally that he has been one of the most consistently nice gentlemen I've ever got the chance to hang with.

And his generosity continued over the weekend in Beaumont. He was in town for a gala and when he got to performing his latest hit "The Fighter", he had a bit of a surprise in store for the crowd.

Well no, it wasn't Carrie Underwood coming out to sing her part of the duet, but none other than Opelousas native and country star in the making Kylie Frey!

Check out this clip of part of Kylie's performance with Keith.

That's just cool! Cool of Keith and cool for her.

Don't forget, you can hear Kylie Frey's latest single "Too Bad", which features Randy Rogers, right now on 97.3 The Dawg. She's currently up in Nashville knocking on doors and all of us here at the station just know that this young lady will be a big star one day soon!
