According to Lovemoney and MSN, counterfeit brands cost consumers and businesses a whopping $462 billion per year, and could go up to $2.3 trillion by 2022. That is kind of unbelievable. Wow.

American brands are the most pirated, and the majority originates in China. I was really surprised to see that drugs are included in on this list, which seems wildly dangerous to me. As a matter of fact, fake medications are responsible for more than a million deaths a year. But what are the most faked brands worldwide?
