Earlier this year, the owners of Lotus Garden on Ambassador Caffery in Lafayette announced that they would be closing the business after many successful years.

For many years, the restaurant featuring a Chinese buffet along with Vietnamese pho and sushi was a favorite amongst patrons (including this writer).

Thankfully, the business was sold and with new owners has been reborn with a new name and some renovations on the inside.

It's now called Asian Palace Buffet & Grill and it opened this past Tuesday to rave reviews.

The new restaurant offers a variety of Asian cuisine buffet style and cooked-to-order Mongolian grill dishes.

The restaurant offers dine-in and take-out with a plethora of delicious menu items including soups, lo mein, fried rice, seafood, pork dishes, and more.

The prices are pretty good as well. The all-you-can-eat lunch buffet is only $11.99 for adults while the dinner buffet is $14.99. The prices are cheaper for children and seniors.

Asian Palace Buffet & Grill is open seven days a week from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm.

We wish the owners well in this new endeavor and hope it continues to delight taste buds for years to come.
