Baton Rouge Police Find Three Baggies of Drugs in Louisiana Man’s Rectum Following Traffic Stop
According to reports, Baton Rouge Police Officers found a Louisiana man to be hiding three baggies of drugs in his rectum following a strip search. The man, who was supposed to be assisting the BRPD in narcotics investigations, has been arrested after avoiding contact with authorities.
Reports say that a 38-year-old Louisiana man was allegedly found with three bags of drugs after a traffic stop. The drugs were apparently located in the man's rectum following a strip search.
The incident occurred in October of 2021 after Baton Rouge Police were tipped off about a man allegedly selling drugs. After BRPD initiated a traffic stop on the man for fake tags, authorities found a glass pipe in his vehicle per reports.
The man was reportedly questioned on if he had any drugs on his person or in the vehicle. He was then detained and taken back to a BRPD location where he was strip-searched as authorities believed that he was hiding something in his underwear.
Reports say that an affidavit from BRPD says that the man, "...was found in possession of 3 clear plastic baggies located in his butt hole".
The search ended up uncovering a baggie containing six grams of powder cocaine, another baggie containing 2.5 grams of heroin, and the last baggie containing 1.3 grams of methamphetamine. The report adds that $487 was also found.
The man was released at that point. The date was October 6, 2021, and the understanding between BRPD and the man was that he would help them with ongoing narcotics investigations. But following his release, the man apparently avoided contact with authorities in regard to narcotics investigations.
Now, reports say that the man was arrested again on October 12th. No bond has been set for his release.
