Beyonce Buys a Church in New Orleans

What do you do when you have more money than you can count? You buy a church, of course!

Beyonce is the new owner of a century-old, stone-facade church in New Orleans. The church is located at Camp and Seventh streets, near Joey K's restaurant.

The listing price was $850,000 but no word yet if "Queen Bey" got a divine discount.

So why was the church sold? It had reportedly fallen into disrepair and coupled with a dwindling congregation, the remaining members decided to sell.

Time will tell what Beyonce is planning to do with the structure. Her sister, Solange, does live nearby, so there's a connection there.
