Blue Bayou Announces Reopening Date, With Limited Access

The good news to share here is that Blue Bayou is reopening in Baton Rouge after being closed for a while due to the COVID pandemic.

The bad news though is that due to an extreme shortage of workers, only the water park is opening, for now.

The park is encouraging anyone ages 15 or older to apply immediately.

The water park in Blue Bayou will reopen on May 22 for the 2021 season, but the Dixie Landin' Theme Park there will remain closed in 2021.

We have seen several local businesses close early or not reopen at all due to a workforce shortage in the area after the COVID pandemic restrictions.
