The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns are back in action tonight, hosting Georgia State in a Sun Belt Conference game at the Cajundome.  The game can be heard on Hot 107.9 (KHXT-FM) with pre game beginning at 7:30.  The 8 pm tipoff can also be seen nationally on ESPN2.

The game has been designated as a "blackout" game with all fans encouraged to wear black to the game.  The Cajuns will sport their black uniforms for only the second time this season.

In addition, internationally known unicyclist/acrobat Red Panda will perform at halftime.

Louisiana (13-10, 4-6 Sun Belt) is hoping to find its missing defense, which has allowed an average of more than 100 points over the last three games.  The Cajuns are coming off a 103-86 loss to Georgia Southern Wednesday night.  Georgia State (16-7, 7-3) lost on the road to ULM Wednesday night, creating a three way tie atop the Sun Belt standings along with UTA and Texas State.

This will be the 18th meeting between the two schools with Georgia State holding a 12-5 advantage.  The teams are 3-3 inside the Cajundome and the teams will be playing in Lafayette for the first time in the last five meetings.  Georgia State has won the last six contest, including an 89-76 win in Atlanta earlier this year.  In that game, D'Marcus Simonds, reigning SBC Player of the Year led the way with 21 points.  Jeff Thomas scored 14 of his 17 points in the first half, while Malik Benlevi added 15 points and Devin Mitchell 13.  For the Cajuns, JaKeenan Gant scored a game high 36 points, while Justin Miller added 13 and Jerekius Davis tallied 11.

This is the second of a three game homestand for the Cajuns, who will host ULM on Saturday, February 16th.
