Cajuns Top Warhawks 7-1 to Win Series
After a disappointing loss on Friday evening, Louisiana's Ragin' Cajun baseball team bounced back on Saturday, defeating ULM 7-1 to claim the series.
Senior Jeff Wilson got his usual game 3 start, holding down the Warhawks for 6 innings, giving up 7 hits and 1 earned run, striking out 5.

Louisiana's bats never had an innings where they blew open the score, but were steady all afternoon, procuring ten total hits, scoring one run in the 1st, two in the 2nd, two in the 3rd, and two in the 7th.
Designated hitter Trey Lefleur led the way with a pair of hits, including a solo homerun, and 2 RBI.

Relievers Chipper Menard (1.2 IP, 3 hits) and Jake Hammond (1.1 IP, 0 hits) came out of the pen to keep Louisiana's sizeable lead in tact.

With the victory, Louisiana improves to 20-15 overall, and 9-6 in Sun Belt conference play.
