Cecilia Man Arrested in Hit-and-Run Case

44-year-old Dalton Williams, Jr., of Cecilia is behind bars following a hit-and-run that involved a pedestrian Saturday night in the 1000 block of George Dupuis Road.

No bond has been set for Williams as he sits in the St. Martin Parish Correctional Center on the following charges:

• LA. R.S. 14:100 Felony Hit and Run
• LA. R.S. 32:415 Operating Vehicle While License Is Suspended

The victim remains hospitalized.
