Charles Manson Reportedly Seriously Ill, Moved To Hospital
One of America's most notorious cult leaders and mass murderers, Charles Manson has reportedly been transported from prison to a California hospital.
Msn.com says that Manson has been taken to a California hospital for treatment of undisclosed medical issues. The only information available is that his situation is serious.
Terry Thornton, a spokeswoman for the California Department of Corrections gave Msn.com no specific information due to medical privacy laws, and only told them "He's alive".
Manson and other members of his so-called family were convicted of killing actress Sharon Tate and six other people during a bloody rampage in the Los Angeles area during two August nights in 1969. Prosecutors said that Manson and his followers were trying to incite a race war that he believed was in the Beatles’ song 'Helter Skelter.
