Yesterday we found out the owner of a single ticket sold in Ohio for the Mega Millions game had claimed the over $370 million top prize in that game. This morning we are finding out that there was no big winner in last night's Powerball drawing. However, a ticket sold in Louisiana can lay claim to a pretty nice chunk of change just in time for the holidays.

Louisiana Lottery officials say a ticket sold for the December 18th drawing of the multi-state Powerball game matched four of the five white-ball numbers. It also matched the Powerball. The ticket's purchaser also opted for the Power Play option. That means that one single ticket is worth $100,000 to its owner this morning.

The numbers from last night's Powerball Drawing (December 18, 2019) were:

14 18 26 39 68 PB 09 PP x2

A ticket sold at Quik EZ #1 on Brown Switch Road in Slidell has been determined to be the winner of that $100,000 prize.

Lottery officials have also announced a suspension of state-based lottery games for Christmas Day. In other words, there will be no Pick 3, Pick 4, Easy 5 or Lotto drawings on Wednesday, Dec. 25. There will still be a Powerball drawing.

That Christmas night jackpot could be in excess of $200 million by the time it rolls around. However, there is a drawing on Saturday night that could change those jackpot numbers significantly, especially if a lucky ticket matches all of the right numbers and the Powerball.
