It seems like more and more airlines are charging for things that at one time were free. So when we hear of a feature being given to us for free, it's a bit of reason to celebrate.

Delta Airlines will soon begin offering in-flight entertainment free of charge on equipped aircraft both domestic and international.

Previously, Delta only provided a portion of its entertainment offerings for free on domestic flights.

Delta said the free entertainment will begin on July 1st on about 90 percent of its planes.

Movies, shows, music and games will be available on seat-back screens or through a passenger's personal mobile device through on-board Wi-Fi.

The only exception will be the company's smaller planes that don't have Wi-Fi capability.
