Why Acadiana Shoppers Love Local Grocery Stores
I would think that for many of us, if money were no object, we'd prefer to shop local. I know for me, I hear a lot of family and friends utter these words when it comes to their locally owned grocery store: "The meat selection is just better at (fill-in-the-blank local store)."
What Makes a Great Locally Owned Grocery Store?
There are plenty of other reasons we enjoy shopping at local grocery stores. We like the better selection of locally sourced items, the smaller and more navigable footprint of the store itself, and the everybody-knows-my-name vibe once we're in the store.
