With Hurricane Florence now a Category 4 storm, people who live along the East Coast of the United States are bracing for what will likely be a pretty vicious storm.

The Louisiana Office of the State Fire Marshall says they have been asked to help out in South Carolina, and they are heading out there to lend a hand during the storm.

In the past in Louisiana, first responders from all over the country along with other professionals have lent a helping hand to our state when we have faced major challenges.

Butch Browning's Office is sending teams fro Suburban Search and Rescue, Disaster Management and Swift Water Rescue.

The entourage will also include medics and firefighters from Shreveport, New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
