Fireworks To Blame For Early Morning Fire In Scott

Improperly discarded fireworks are to blame for a house fire early this morning in Scott. The Scott Fire Department says the blaze damaged the attic and some of the living area at the home in the 200 block of Vincent Drive. Firefighters say the spent fireworks were put in a plastic trash can near the side of the home. Investigators have ruled the fire accidental. No injuries were reported.
