Legendary Cowboys Night Club Reopening After Hiatus
SCOTT, La. (KMDL-FM) - It's the kind of news you didn't know you needed on a Monday, but you're getting it.
Cowboys Night Club in the greater Scott/Lafayette area will be re-opening after what turned out to be a short hiatus.
You may recall that in late July, the legendary country night club announced that it would be closing after 45 years in business. We all got nostalgic, reliving the great memories we had during many late nights there, and then we got sad thinking that the club would never return.

Cowboys Night Club Sets Reopening Date
Well, lock those memories away, because Cowboys will be making a strong comeback under new management on October 16, 2025.
According to manager Chris Breaux, we can expect some exciting changes to the new and improved Cowboys.
New Stage and VIP Lounge Among Upgrades
While the bar won't be any bigger, the most notable change will be the location of the stage. It will be relocated to the back of the club. (I actually got a sneak peek and the new stage is partly constructed and impressive.)
Where the stage has been located for years, to the right inside the venue, will be turned into a VIP seating area.

And there are several other improvements and upgrades being made to the building including the addition of a green room for musicians, new lighting and sound, and a more open concept to the dance floor.
Keeping the Country Music Tradition Alive
The owners promise that the night club will still have great live bands every weekend and expect the lineup of live music to be more consistently country-leaning.
Once we get more information regarding the grand re-opening weekend, including the music lineup, we'll be sure to post that along with pictures of the completed renovations.
