Scott's Fourth of July Celebration Returns Friday

The City of Scott will be holding its Fourth of July Celebration this Friday, June 26, 2026, at La Maison de Begnaud, located at 110 Benoit Patin Road in Scott. Festivities will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will include:

  • Kids Activities
  • Food & Drinks
  • Music by Chubby Carrier
  • Fireworks

Free Shuttle Service Available in Scott

Parking is limited around La Maison de Begnaud, so organizers have set up a free shuttle from Manheim Auction on St. Mary Street.

Carencro Independence Extravaganza Set for Saturday

Another big event is taking place on Saturday, June 27 as the Carencro Independence Extravaganza will take place at The Grove at Pelican Park. Festivities will begin at 7 p.m.

The event is free to the public and you are invited to bring chairs and blankets. There will be kids activities, live music by The Josh Mendoza Experience, and fireworks. The evening will conclude with a fireworks show at 10 p.m.
