Everything Happening at Erath’s 90th Fourth of July Celebration

ERATH, La. - There are a lot of great Independence Day events around Acadiana coming up in the next two weeks, but none have the legacy of the annual Erath 4th of July celebration. This year's festivities will mark 90 years of honoring America.

The fun will take place from June 30 through July 4 in Downtown Erath. Highlights include carnival rides, live music, and of course, a huge fireworks display on July 4th.

How to Save on Carnival Ride Bracelets

If you plan to enjoy the carnival, you can save money right now by purchasing pre-sale carnival bracelets for $25. Those will be sold in the parking lot across from City Hall on Tuesday, June 23 and Wednesday, June 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

July 4 Events Include Parade, Water Fights and Fireworks

There are more events on July 4th including a 5K & Fun Run at 7:30 a.m. followed by the famous Water Fights between the area fire departments.

The parade rolls at 5 p.m. The giant fireworks display lights up the skies over Erath at 9 p.m.
