Five Product Recalls Now Affecting Louisiana Consumers

You'll experience the defect yourself, which could result in bodily injury or illness, or we can tell you about it so you can adjust. Let's hope you'll be adjusting your plans for these five specific products that have been available for purchase in Louisiana.

Not only have these products been available to shoppers in Louisiana, but many of them are sold, or were sold, by high-profile retailers such as Amazon, Walmart, TJ Maxx, Burlington, and others. Believe it or not, having the products sold by a high-profile retailer will work to your benefit during a recall.

All of these retailers have return and refund policies in place. If you do find yourself in possession of one of the items we're about to describe, all you'll need to do to obtain a refund or replacement product is return the merchandise to where it was purchased. Or reach out online if the product was purchased online and follow the instructions that you get in return.

Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend:

Walmart

This product was sold in several states via Walmart and Sam's Club stores. There is a potential for E.coli contamination. This recall is actually an expanded recall from July, so if you purchased Great Value frozen berries, you might want to really give the product label a good review just to make sure the "healthy" product you purchased for your family won't wind up harming them. Mainstays 9-Drawer Dresser:

This product was sold at Walmart stores nationwide; it was also available via Walmart.com. The issue with this product is in how it is installed. The way most of us would put this in our home poses a tipping hazard. These dressers have been available since 2023. They have a black metal frame and nine fabric drawers. Grill Brushes - Several Of Them

If you have a metal grill brush, then you probably have a concern. Many styles, models, and brands of metal bristle brushes designed for grill cleaning have been recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission. The concern is the bristles breaking off from the brush and then sticking to your food. The brushes in question have been sold at Walmart, Burlington, TJ Maxx, and Ross. Children's Toys

Online retailer Shine is the subject of this recall that affects what is called the "Spiral Toy". The spinning toys have pieces and parts that violate the CPSC small ball ban. The balls are small enough that children could put them in their mouths, thereby creating a choking hazard. You may contact the retailer for a refund. Nut Butter

This might be the most specific recall of the five you should be aware of. This product, Pistachio Nut Butter, was sold by Boticelli Foods of Melville, New York. The product has been available in 19 states, and there is a Salmonella concern with this product. The recalled jars are the 6.7 oz size and have an expiration date of January 28, 2027.
